Morgan Wallen is one of country music’s premier stars; his 2021 album Dangerous has spent over 110 weeks on the charts.

This week, he becomes the first country artist in more than four decades – since “Rabbit” topped both charts – to achieve such an accomplishment.

“Last Night” by Joe has recently reached No. 1. Joe performed live alongside co-writer Larry Fleet at PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, serving it to great acclaim.

Larry Fleet & Morgan Wallen Perform “Where I Find God” Live

Larry Fleet knows what it takes to remain faithful as a blue-collar family man and Nashville singer and songwriter. While working construction jobs, Larry honed his songwriting abilities, never giving up his dream to create music. His success as an Evinrude-powered country vocalist and church pew-bound worship leader is making headlines all across America.

Fleet, who released his debut full-length project, 2021’s Stack of Records featuring breakout single “Where I Find God,” surprised his fans by performing it live at PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, alongside Morgan Wallen. Filmed under minimal production at this PPL Center showdown, it shows Fleet strumming his acoustic guitar amidst glowing spotlights as Morgan Wallen joined them to perform this classic tune.

Recently, they completed an opening stint on Wallen’s Dangerous Tour and will soon embark on their headlining trek, the One for the Road Tour – see all upcoming dates here! This performance marks another example of these labelmates breaking away from Nashville mainstream; Hits Magazine notes this allows them to connect with fans more authentically than expected within this genre.

Larry Fleet and Morgan Wallen recently surprised fans during their stop in Allentown, PA, by performing “Where I Find God” live for Wallen’s Dangerous Tour and recording it for TikTok release.

The song tells a poignant tale about finding peace even in unlikely places, depicting a bartender at rock bottom who finds hope when a stranger pays for his drinks and puts him into a taxi, saving him from further destruction. It shows that God can still help even in our most trying moments.

Fleet’s breakout hit from his debut album WORKIN’ HARD was produced by legendary studio ace Joey Moi (Florida Georgia Line and Jake Owen). Recently completing support duties on Wallen’s Dangerous Tour and gearing up to embark on his inaugural One for the Road Tour this fall, Fleet is working hard and providing family entertainment in his free time.

Listen to the Song

Larry Fleet recently concluded his run opening for Morgan Wallen on his Dangerous Tour and delighted fans by performing their breakout hit “Where I Find God.” This recording was originally done back in February in Allentown, PA.

The song weaves country music’s cliches — bars, church, and deer stands — into an upbeat song about finding solace in God wherever you may be. The narrator finds God in friends, family, and nature, such as lakes or road trips with loved ones.

Country radio needs more reflective and thought-provoking tracks like this one – songs without overt electric guitars or drums making their point, instead relying on subtler acoustic guitar, mandolin, and lo-fi dobro arrangements to convey spiritual themes without sounding preachy.

Fleet’s sophomore album Stack of Records is now available on Big Loud Records and features emotional ballads such as this breakout hit single. He is well on his way to becoming one of Nashville’s next superstars with help from producer Joey Moi. Additionally, he’s married and father to his 7-month-old son, Waylon.

Last year, during the coronavirus pandemic, Larry Fleet released “Where I Find God,” offering hope in times of darkness by looking up to a higher power for support. The song resonated with country fans worldwide, earning him a Top 10 Billboard debut and over 26 Million Official Music Video views. As a hardworking family man, singer/songwriter Adam Steed prioritized being a husband and father before realizing his dream of becoming a country artist. However, his determination to provide for his family led him back to music, signing with Big Loud Records to release his debut album, Stack of Record – produced by Joey Moi (Florida Georgia Line/Jake Owen).
