Fans can watch Cleveland Guardians games via various streaming services, including DIRECTV Stream and fuboTV.

Tampa Bay Rays

Tampa Bay’s baseball team, previously known as the Devil Rays, has delighted baseball enthusiasts for two decades at Tropicana Field. A perennial playoff contender since 2008 – when they surprised everyone by winning seven games of the World Series against the Boston Red Sox! Currently part of the American League East division and boast a fierce rivalry against their Boston-based opponents;

The Guardians have won four consecutive games and appear to be on an upward trend as a team. Their offense has performed admirably against the Rays’ pitchers, so they should have no difficulty covering this spread.

On Tuesday night, Tyler Glasnow will start for the Rays against Xzavion Curry and the Guardians. Glasnow has been their top pitcher this season and holds an outstanding 3.12 ERA while striking 114 batters over 86.2 innings pitched. However, facing off against an attack-oriented Guardian team who have scored lots of runs can present quite a formidable challenge to Glasnow’s abilities as an opener.

This game will be exclusively broadcast on Apple TV+, and fans can tune in 15 minutes before the first pitch to catch a pregame show on the app. In addition, Apple TV+ provides articles and videos about each team and MLB; signing up is free, with cancellation at any time!

Cleveland — The Guardians will continue their pursuit of playoff contention tonight as they face off with Tampa Bay Rays at Progressive Field. Currently occupying a wild card spot in the American League behind only Minnesota Twins by five games with three remaining, Cleveland has won four out of their last five matches against them and batted an average.314 combined against them this season.

The Guardians recently completed a three-game sweep against the Tampa Bay Rays and will look to extend that streak today with another victory at home. Game time starts at 4:10 p.m. ET and will be streamed live via Apple TV+. Luke Raley (strained shoulder), Isaac Paredes, and Osleivis Basabe will not participate in today’s contest, while Osleivis Basabe is set to start.

Tyler Glasnow

On Friday night at Progressive Field, the Tampa Bay Rays will play against the Cleveland Guardians, with Tyler Glasnow set to start. Both teams compete for one of three AL wild card spots; the Rays lead. After recent struggles on both teams, these games provide an essential chance to regain momentum before going deeper into playoff contention.

Glasnow has been outstanding this season, posting a 3.12 ERA with 11.8 strikeouts per nine innings and seven quality starts as a rookie pitcher. Back spasms forced him out of his last start, but he played catch on Wednesday and should be ready for Saturday versus the Guardians.

The Guardians remain in contention for a wild card spot and have made strides thanks to an impressive pitching staff. After taking two of three against Minnesota and claiming Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, and Matt Moore off waivers from the Angels, they only trail Minnesota by five games in the division race.

Glasnow had an off day against the Angels on Saturday, though not entirely due to him. His command was off – leading to six three-ball counts during the game – Kole Calhoun hitting a popup and Ramon Laureano hitting a sacrifice fly, giving them a 3-2 advantage. Still, Glasnow managed to end that inning without further incident with a 1-2-3 performance.

The Guardians have won three out of their past four games and currently stand at 39-35, only 1.5 games behind the Yankees for the AL Wild Card spot. Led by an aggressive offense and young pitching staff, their lineup and young pitching staff have kept pace with division leaders such as Glasgow. Alongside him, right-hander Cal Quantrill has provided another solid outing in recent starts, posting a 2.20 ERA/WHIP of 0.89 while striking out 50 batters during that span; look out for him against the Rays on Friday!

Cal Quantrill

On Friday, Cal Quantrill had an unfavorable start for the Cleveland Guardians’ starting pitcher and was pulled after only two outs had been recorded in his three innings of work – giving up six runs total across three innings pitched and being pulled after just two outs in the fifth inning.

Quantrill had another poor start since being activated from the injured list, giving up at least seven earned runs in both starts, with a 6.45 ERA and 1.57 WHIP through 67 innings this season – placing his position within Cleveland’s rotation at risk.

The Guardians features an impressive roster of starting pitchers, including rookies Tanner Bibee, Logan Allen, Gavin Williams, and Xzavion Curry. Quantrill could return to the starting rotation once healthy; however, his recovery timeline remains unknown as he spent most of the season on injured reserve with right shoulder inflammation.

Ervin returned a week ago but quickly experienced difficulty, surrendering 11 earned runs over 7 2/3 innings in his two most recent starts and pushing up his season ERA to 6.45. As soon as his shoulder issues flared up again, he was placed back on the disabled list for further treatment; right-hander Cody Morris was then called up as his replacement.

On Tuesday night, the Guardians again showed their impressive offensive prowess by scoring five runs against their former teams: Shane Bieber was fantastic. At the same time, Amed Rosario delivered two run-scoring singles that propelled them to an impressive 5-2 win against the Detroit Tigers.

The victory marked the Guardians’ 14th consecutive home win and raised their record to 13-3. Their offense added four runs in the fourth inning when Ezequiel Tovar and Javier Profar contributed run-scoring hits. Brenton Doyle nearly collected his first major league hit in the eighth, but the call was reversed upon review. On Saturday at Progressive Field, they’ll host Arizona Diamondbacks starting at 6:35 p.m. ET; it will also be available via Fox Sports Sun Network and MLB Extra Innings.

Though they only own two World Series championships, the Guardians have become one of the most successful MLB franchises ever. They’ve made multiple postseason appearances and have never been defeated in a seven-game series.

However, it’s no secret that the team is going through an uncertain period, with players struggling to perform as effectively as before. That doesn’t mean they can’t still compete against some of baseball’s greatest teams, and you can easily watch live MLB coverage without leaving home thanks to cable or streaming services offering a range of MLB games.

The Guardians will play two matches against the Mariners and Yankees this season – one against each team – including a rematch from last year’s American League Division Series. Looking to shake off an underwhelming start to their campaign, Triston McKenzie should lead his squad to victory.

Attending games live is always the ideal experience, yet sometimes, arriving on time at a stadium can be challenging. That is why knowing the start time of a game can help you plan your day accordingly, or you could watch it from your computer or mobile device for added flexibility in enjoying all the action!

The Cleveland Guardians will be shown live on regional channels like Bally Sports Great Lakes and ESPN, while some online streaming services also provide them. These include DIRECTV STREAM, fuboTV, and Sling TV, each offering Fox, FS1, and ESPN for $75/month, with fuboTV’s comparable package costing $100.
