Call of Duty DMZ Tier Three Faction Mission – Substantial Findings

15

Call of Duty’s new DMZ game mode allows players to accept faction missions to earn rewards and experience, such as Black Mous Faction Mission Substantial Findings in Tier Three mode. Players must plant tracking devices at two points of interest on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island maps to complete this Tier Three task.

The first step of this mission is to collect a tracking device from the Town Center dead drop and take it directly to the Hafid Port warehouse where a submarine awaits to place the tracker.

Locations of the Submarines

Substantial Findings, one of Call of Duty DMZ’s more challenging tier-three faction missions, challenges players to locate and plant two submarines on two maps – Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. To do this, players must identify and collect a tracking device from Al Sharim Pass’ dead drop before attaching them both on the Hafid Port submarine docked at Hafid Port and another in Ashika Island Waterways, respectively.

For the Substantial Findings faction mission, players should begin a DMZ match and head toward the Town Center deaddrop on the west side of the map. Be wary when approaching this area; armored bots have a stronghold here and should be approached carefully when approaching this location. Located within a dumpster, it can easily be seen on satellite images of maps.

The substantial Findings mission requires taking the second tracker and heading toward Hafid Port at the western edge of the Al Mazrah map. You’ll find an unlocked submarine inside a warehouse that you can access by climbing onto boxes; beware of AI combatants lurking inside as soon as you open its door! Once this step has been completed, players may climb aboard to plant their tracking device to complete this task.

The final submarine in DMZ’s substantial findings can be found on the Ashika Island map. To reach it, players must head towards Ashika Island Waterways POI, accessed through Oganikku Farms Point of Interest or residential and beach club points of Interest. Once in this busy area with enemies, including juggernaut commanders, it’s crucial that players quickly eliminate their adversaries before unlocking their submarine and planting tracking devices for it to complete faction missions successfully. Unlike previous submarines that were submerged underwater, this one can easily be seen from above the surface, allowing faction missions completion much quicker!

Planting a Tracker

Call of Duty’s DMZ mode provides many engaging missions to test players’ tactical and strategic abilities. One such mission, Substantial Findings from Tier Three Black Mous faction, requires players to plant trackers on submarines docked at Hafid Port and Ashika Island Waterways docking sites – this may appear daunting, but with patience and navigation skills, players can complete this challenging mission!

Players must first obtain two tracking devices for this mission from dumpster dead drops at the Town Center on Ashika Island and Al Sharim Pass on the Al Mazrah map. After gathering these tracking devices, players should place one tracker each on two submarines: Hafid Port warehouse and Ashika Island Waterways.

Players should use caution when approaching submarines, as AI soldiers protect them and should come safely with throwable weapons to eliminate enemies and turrets quickly. Once the tracker has been planted successfully, exfiltration should proceed smoothly.

Substantial Findings missions in DMZ may not be simple, but they’re worth every effort! Earn more XP or unlock cool weapons; these missions provide great ways to spend some time in the DMZ! Unfortunately, not everyone can complete them for various reasons – in this article, we will address some of the common obstacles faced when doing these quests so players can avoid common errors faster and complete this mission more quickly.

Finding the Submarine

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s popular DMZ game mode provides plenty of engaging missions designed to test players’ strategy, teamwork, and combat skills. One such mission for Black Mous is the Substantial Findings faction mission, which tasks them with gathering two tracking devices from both Town Center and Al Sharim Pass Dead Drops before placing them onto submarines at Hafid Port and Ashika Island Waterways – although this task might seem challenging initially if you know where and how to look for clues.

Once you’ve obtained the first tracker at Al Sharim Pass Dead Drop, travel westward to Hafid Port — this westernmost point of interest (POI). Head into the large warehouse on the north side of Hafid Port where a submarine awaits – be wary, though; its area may contain AI enemies with powerful throwables defending it! Coordinate with teammates and use throwables from the cover. Quickly eliminate these opponents before climbing the submarine to place your tracker and complete this mission phase!

Next, deploy on Ashika Island and locate the second submarine. Finding it may prove challenging; you can access the Waterways POI via one of three entry points: Port Ashika, Town Center/Beach Club entrance, or Oganikku Farms/Residential entrances. When inside, navigate towards Tsuki Castle, where one will likely be waiting.

Keep your eyes peeled for the submarine; spotting may not be easy. Note also that entering and climbing onto its deck without engaging any enemies will suffice – plant the tracker at its location for success!

Exfoliating

Substantial Findings is one of the most formidable tier three Black Mous faction missions to come out with the Warzone 2 DMZ season four update, requiring players to find two Dead Drops, locate and exfiltrate a submarine at Hafid Port successfully before successfully exfiltrating it. Completion may prove challenging if you don’t know where to search; while Reddit users have speculated it may be bugged, Infinity Ward has not officially acknowledged any bugs with Substantial Findings, so below is our guide, which should help complete Substantial Findings successfully! Step one: Collect Trackers
