AMC Dine-In Fashion District 8 Opens in Center City

AMC Theaters recently unveiled a brand-new theater experience – AMC Dine-in Fashion District 8 – offering food delivery right to your seat. It opened for business on November 4 in Center City.

On the third floor of what used to be Gallery Mall, this eight-screen theater boasts reclining chairs and two auditoriums that support premium formats like Dolby Cinema screens with improved projection and sound and seats that pulsate.

Food & Drinks

AMC Dine-In Fashion District 8 opened Monday as the latest addition to Center City. Situated atop what used to be Gallery Mall at 11th and Market Streets, its top floor location makes for easy accessibility.

Moviegoers can enjoy ordering from a full restaurant-like menu that ranges from Asian steak and shrimp bowls to classic burgers, desserts, and handcrafted cocktails. Prices may be slightly higher than usual concessions/candy bar items but worth it for something a bit special than popcorn and candy bars!

AMC’s full-service model differs significantly from many of the options that have recently popped up in Philadelphia, for example, by not offering dedicated servers that bring food directly to your seat; instead, fare can be paid for upfront and enjoyed while watching a film. Furthermore, people can select their seats ahead of time which helps reduce wait times.

For moviegoers looking for an effortless experience, there are also self-service kiosks. The Fashion District theater boasts eight screens equipped with reclining seats and auditoriums that support premium format screenings found only at specific locations nationwide.

AMC Fashion District cinema is an essential investment for its owners, signaling they see it as a place where people come to enjoy movies and activities such as bowling and ping-pong. AMC also wants to use this theater as part of its overall push to build loyalty programs tied into the streaming business – AMC hopes that its all-in-one package can compete against Netflix by including movies going, live TV programming, and other forms of entertainment all into one package.

Discount Matinees

Fashion District residents now have access to AMC Dine-In theater, just in time for holiday releases. As one of the world’s largest cinema chains, AMC provides an upmarket in-theater experience by providing more than just popcorn and candy as part of its menu offerings.

Dine-In theaters differ from Alamo Drafthouse or Studio Movie Grill by offering patrons an option to pre-order food and have it brought straight to their seats without being interrupted by waiters taking orders; this allows patrons to fully appreciate their movie without being interrupted with checks!

AMC is trying to compete with new streaming services by expanding beyond the traditional big screen and popcorn experience. Their Fashion District theater, AMC Dine-In, offers full bar service, recliner seating, and a menu selection beyond popcorn, candy, and soda. In addition, reserved seating is available so patrons can buy tickets ahead of time online or using smartphone apps; those consuming adult beverages can order and pay for them before arrival, though AMC data suggests people typically consume at 1.1 drinks-per-show paces.

Mobile Ordering

AMC Dine-In Fashion District 8 theater stands out from other local cinemas by offering movie-themed snacks and beverages and enabling patrons to order food directly from their mobile devices and have it brought now to their seats. Although this differs slightly from the Studio Movie Grill model – in which customers pay upfront with waiters getting bills at the show’s end – several other theaters also provide this feature.

Center City will soon have a brand-new theater offering a full-service, dine-in movie-going experience with AMC Signature recliners and food and drink delivery right to your seat. The Fashion District location boasts two auditoriums capable of supporting premium-format screenings, including Dolby Cinema technology only found in select cinemas worldwide.

Dine-in theaters are part of AMC’s more significant effort to stay relevant in an industry in which ticket sales have suffered greatly, leaving many traditional movie chains struggling. AMC plans on offering its version of streaming services with rewards programs and loyalty options designed to entice movie-goers. AMC is listed on the New York Stock Exchange; from 2012-2018, Wanda Group held majority ownership.

Drink Specials

AMC will bring its dine-in experience to Center City with the Fashion District 8 theater, opening Monday, November 4. Guests can sit back in recliners while having food delivered right to their seats; plus, there will be a full bar called MacGuffins that serves everything from beer to specialty cocktails that pair perfectly with feature films.

AMC Dine-In has long been an experiment at AMC theaters, offering food and beverages to moviegoers from its locations throughout Delaware County. At the same time, other sites have this service, such as Painter’s Crossing Mall in Painter’s Crossing. But the Fashion District 8 cinema will operate differently; customers will purchase food and drinks at its front counter before having them brought directly out to their seats – eliminating waiter service as this will prevent him/her from having to interrupt the film by coming up to collect payment at one point during its runtime.

However, drink prices will differ slightly from usual AMC concessions because they offer an upmarket dining experience and higher-quality menu items. Even so, their prices remain more than competitive when compared with candy bar and popcorn prices at traditional theaters.

AMC Dine-In has an exclusive offer available exclusively to AMC Stubs members that makes movie-going at AMC Fashion District 8 more affordable for many people. AMC Stubs A-List, Premiere, and Insider members will enjoy discounts when attending Tuesday showtimes until December 31, making this tremendous movie-going deal even more accessible and more cost-effective than before! Take advantage of it while it lasts and make AMC Fashion District 8 even more accessible than before.
