Silent Princess is a rare material used in cooking recipes that provide stealth boosts or as an ingredient to upgrade armor at Great Fairy Fountains. This rare material can also be fused to increase the attack power of weapons and shields.

Silent Princess can be found throughout Hyrule, but specific locations offer her greater abundance. This TotK guide will show you where and why to look for Silent Princess and all its uses.

Rutile Lake

Silent Princess is a plant found both in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, where it serves a vital function in crafting various items like food and elixirs that give Link an enhanced stealth boost when consumed, as well as being used as an ingredient when upgrading armor at Great Fairy Fountains.

Silent princess flowers can be found throughout Hyrule in forested areas, often near where the Master Sword rests (Korok Forest), on hilltops where Ta’loh Naeg Shrine stands, or at Great Fairy Cotera. Used to craft stealth items sold at shop vendors for 10 rupees each or upgraded pieces of armor in Champion’s Tunic and Stealth Set upgrades, silent princess flowers are rare yet can still be found wild.

Rutile Lake on Satori Mountain can be found southwest of Lookout Landing and easily accessed from Usazum Shrine by heading northwest. Rutile Lake provides an excellent chance to gain this item as its surroundings contain plenty of Blue Nightshade flowers, which provide its primary source. Furthermore, you may come across Fleet-Lotus Seeds on the ground here, along with Hearty Durian trees nearby that you can knock down to obtain Courser Bee Honey!

Silent Princess is an uncommon item and should be obtained as soon as possible during the game. You may get it as a reward for completing quests such as the Miss Vai Battle Pageant or Defeat Calamity Ganon; additionally, it can be purchased from Rhodo for 160 rupees at his shop in Hateno Village. Furthermore, its purchase from Rhodo can unlock Stealth Set’s powerful stealth capabilities; three armor pieces can be upgraded much like Champion’s Tunic upgrades can.

Akkala Highlands

Silent Princess flowers, found in Rutile Lake and Akkala Highlands regions, are essential ingredients for creating stealth-related elixirs and meals, upgrading armor at Great Fairy Fountains, and crafting recipes to boost Link’s ability to sneak up on unsuspecting monsters and creatures in the overworld.

Silent Princess flower plants are bioluminescent, making them easy to locate at night. These white-petalled blooms can be found all across Hyrule but are especially common where Great Fairies reside – including areas around Hateno Village and Kakariko Village forests, memorials dedicated to victims of the Second Calamity such as Hyrule Castle Town Ruins or Great Fairy Cotera Shrine.

Players can collect up to four Silent Princess flowers per trip to a Great Fairy Fountain or Stable, though these cannot be collected directly from enemies – making them rare yet rewarding items to contain. Once multiple have been amassed, players will receive an item notification detailing what uses they serve in the game.

Silent Princess flowers, unlike most ingredients, can be cooked into both elixirs and meals; brews offer superior effects due to lasting longer. No matter its form, the Silent Princess flower will provide two additional hearts of recovery and a short mid-level stealth boost.

Floret Sandbar, located west of Kakariko Village, offers the perfect opportunity to gather Silent Princess flowers quickly. Once there, players should look for small blooms lining a wooden path near them; it is easily accessible for players of all levels of play but especially useful for newer players looking for stealth-related ingredients quickly.

Silent Princess flowers can be found throughout Akkala Highlands’ Satori Mountains region. There are clusters near Cherry Blossom Tree and north of the bridge ruins in the center. Additionally, Silent Princess flowers can often grow wild near Hateno Village and Kakariko Village and around Great Fairy Fountains at these spots.

Lost Woods

The Lost Woods are a cursed woodland located in northwestern Hyrule and are home to Skull Kids, Deku Scrubs, and other undead creatures such as Skeleton Forest’s Skeleton Trees – making the Lost Woods appear similar. Additionally, Saria can often be found here at her Forest Temple home.

It can be challenging to navigate this area of Lost Woods without becoming disoriented, particularly with thick fog constantly blowing in from all directions. But don’t give up! Following the wind can help find your path through these woods!

Before the Tears of the Kingdom feature, we advised using a Guide Map to navigate the Lost Woods, but with its introduction, you no longer require this approach. To enter, head west from Kakariko Village towards Floret Sandbar; once there, follow the wind until it leads you to a large tree on the left side of Floret Sandbar, where the Silent Princess awaits.

Once you possess a Silent Princess, they can be used to craft food and elixirs that provide stealth increases when worn. Or you could use them at Great Fairy Fountains to upgrade specific armor pieces; 19 Silent Princesses would be needed to upgrade all three Champion’s Tunic, Sheik’s Mask, and Stealth Armor Set components at maximum level.

Silent Princesses can be found throughout Hyrule, but for the most accessible hunting, focus your efforts in significant towns and villages like Hateno and Kakariko and those near Ta’loh Naeg Shrine or other Great Fairy Fountains. Once you find a location, mark it on your Hyrule Compendium so it will be easier for future reference; additionally, unlocking Camera/Sensor+ upgrades will notify you when Silent Princesses are nearby.

Korok Forest

The Silent Princess is an indispensable item in Tears of the Kingdom, as she can be used to produce meals that provide Link with stealth-related boosts. However, players may be confused about where exactly this plant can be found – however, there are a few key locations in Hyrule where one may discover this rare flower!

Korok Forest can be reached from Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower in northern Hyrule via entering the Lost Woods through Kakariko Village and Woodland Sheikah Tower – once there, enter into Lost Woods for access. Navigate its dense terrain to gain entry.

Once you reach the end of Lost Woods, you should see some lights gleaming in the distance – this marks the entrance to Korok Forest. Head there immediately and use the Ascend ability until all gloom clears away, and you can begin exploring this fantastic locale.

Within the Korok Forest, you’ll discover plenty of Silent Princess flowers. The plants usually pop up around the Master Sword pedestal in this location; be on the lookout! When picking some up, you’ll receive an informative notification outlining the species and purpose each plant serves.

If you require more, The Silent Princess can also be found throughout Tears of the Kingdom in several key locations. Her three flowers can be seen growing near A Link to the Past’s Master Sword Pedestal in Lost Woods; others can be seen near Princess Zelda’s Study or The Dragon’s Tear’s main quest dungeons.

Floret Sandbar is another location where this rare plant can be found, located west of Kakariko Village on its small island. There, you’ll find a florist selling flowers, and it is an ideal spot for early game discovery.
