This unique eco-park attraction in Kolkata houses seven miniature versions of world landmarks. The project was spearheaded by the West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO) under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s guidance, designed by Rupchand Kundu and made available for visitors so they could experience these marvels without traveling abroad. The idea is for everyone to gain an experience of these sights without leaving Kolkata!

The seven wonders include the Taj Mahal, Petra, Christ the Redeemer, the Great Wall of China, the Colosseum, and Moai statues. This project covers an open three-acre plot in New Town Eco Park’s Eco Park and costs Rs 30 for admission through Gate 4; replicas are very well constructed so that visitors can complete the tour in roughly 30 minutes or so.
